Last week in Year 1, the children worked together in their English lessons to write sentences based on their new story, Lost and Found. They discussed thoughtful questions they could ask the penguin to help him feel less sad and lonely, showing great empathy and understanding.

The children took turns to write their ideas, working respectfully as a team and listening carefully to one another. They then shared their writing and proudly displayed it for everyone to see, celebrating their hard work and fantastic efforts.
