In Design Technology, Year 6 have been delving into the world of structures. The children began by analysing existing designs and testing the strength and stability of different structural concepts. Building on this knowledge, they moved on to designing and constructing their own unique structures.

This week, the challenge was to create freestanding structures using only lollipop sticks and masking tape. The activity tested their creativity, problem-solving skills, and ability to apply engineering principles. The results were impressive, with some innovative and sturdy designs emerging.
