Year 2 Becomes Weather Reporters in Geography

In this week’s geography lesson, Year 2 explored the topic of wind and how to identify the direction it comes from. The children learned how wind affects weather patterns and how it can be observed and measured.

To put their learning into practice, pupils created their own weather reports, using directional language and weather vocabulary to describe wind conditions. This fun and interactive activity helped them develop their understanding of compass points and how meteorologists communicate weather information.

Year 2 showed great enthusiasm and confidence as they stepped into the role of young weather reporters!
